Standard assembly of 01005 components

The range of components from GBS grows with every further customer order, especially the miniaturization of the components continues. For this reason, GBS has been using SIPLACE machines for the assembly of 01005 sand-grain components since 2013, making it a pioneer nationwide. Today, the Bayreuth-based company has 01005 components already stocked in batch sizes of up to 1,000. In order to be able to realize these quantities within a line, expanded performance and parking space capacities were required - not at least a logistical challenge. With the SIPLACE SX2 and two powerful SIPLACE MultiStar placement heads, which can produce in Pick & Place, Collect & Place or Mixed Mode, the range for fully automatic, reliable placement of components has now been significantly increased. This enables a flexible response to the wide range of components, even with widely varying lot sizes.
